WIW - edgy?

Another pretty neutral outfit. Not too edgy but the boots give it some surprise edge because the spikes aren't noticeable from the front. Just another comfy outfit for work. the shirt is very soft but maybe a bit too long. The cargo pants are too big at the waist but a belt takes care of that and I think they fit well through the legs. The spiked boots are my fun element. I love the feather earrings but could only find one (how does that happen?) so I decided to just wear one and wear rhinestone studs on the other side.

Top - Old Navy

Pants - Old Navy

Boots - Charles Albert

Oh yes, definitely a bit of edge! They add a nice touch to your outfit. I like the idea of your feather earring and it looks intentional on its own and goes beautifully with your hair :)

I like the flirtiness of the single feather and the studs on your boots, Cheryl! Shirt length is nice in 1 but maybe it's because I like the little bit of natural ruching.

Yes all day every day this is so kick but love the earring feather with your beautiful hair and the hit them from the back boots with the studs good job.

I like the fit of the pants and top on you.  Especially like the pants tucked into the great boots.  If you wanted more definition you could try a semi-tuck with a belt, but I think it works fine as is.   The single earring works!  I have a feather earring whose mate floated away on a windy day (I think that's what happens ;) )  and I might try something similar, I thought of wearing it as a pendant but there is not enough weight to it.

I second what Suz said about the fit. And the single feather seems very intentional, one-of-a-kind, and arty.

ETA Your boots make me swoon!

Looks good Cheryl! Love the boots and the single feather earring, it does feel rather arty.

You know, I find it quite edgy in that hard core way (which actually isn't that showy) and I find it looks very right on you. Harmonious even.

    Thank you all so much.
Rabbit, I never tuck. I try sometimes to semi or faux tuck but my proportions just aren't right for it or maybe it's the fit of my pants but it's just not something I have ever mastered.
I am loving the descriptors you all use. Arty is not a word I normally use to describe myself but I am loving it. Harmonious is a beautiful word as well.
I am usually dressed very loud/colorful so I aspire to be edgy on occasion. It makes me feel empowered.

Boots are great. Love the single feather earring. Mismatched earrings are all the rage.

    Hello Rocky and Cheryl.

The boots and feathers add a great bit of edge on lovable you. xo

This looks great! Aside from the boots, the earrings and the cut of the shirt give this outfit edge.

    Thanks so much :)

Wowe, you surely put a foot in those spiky boots! Love your earings and hair, too!!!!

Lots of edge happening here- those boots, the asymmetry of the single feather earring and the cargo pants. I think the low scoop neckline of the classic striped tee and the use of feathers softens the look. Well played, cheryl!

I forgot to add that the kohl eyeliner really adds to the whole look as well!!

Thanks so much everyone. I'm a big fan of dark eyeliner fuzzylogic. :)
