WIW - lace and plaid

This is a casual outfit I wore to an outdoor church festival to listen to a band. I like the lace sleeves (which don't show well on the pic because of scrunching, lol) on the top because I don't have much lace in wardrobe.

Top: Danskin
Jeans: Old Navy
Shoes: Hanes Her Way

Cute! I don't think I have any lace; you are so on trend here! This is perfect for an outdoor concert. I love your plaid shoes, they look like Vans! :)

I love your shoes so much :-)

Thank you both. I am a sucker for plaid.

Your shoes do look like Vans - currently a household favorite here - so fun for outdoor sneaks.
That length top is great proportion on you too in a pretty blue.

cute top, love the lace sleeve layered effect and the swirl pattern is great- nice mixing with the plaid.

This outfit is very cute. I love the subtle pattern mixing of the swirly things on the shirt with the plaid shoes. You look great!

You look comfortable and happy but have to admit I'm missing the bright colours you sported in your other looks.

Thanks kiwi, this is pretty subdued, lol. I do love my brights. :)

    Thank you Lyn. :)

I love t-shirts with graphic prints such as yours that are fairly subtle (no cartoons or slogans). The tee looks good with the fun plaid shoes and jeans.

    Thank you Sara :)

You look great in blue, Cheryl! I miss your readers.......

(You know I bat for Team Plaid, too).

Lace and plaid. Very punk. I approve :)

  • cheryl replied 11 years ago

Thanks Angie, I will wear some more fun readers, lol. Team Plaid all the way ;)

Hanes makes cute shoes?! I missed that memo!

Love the combination of denim and plaid with lace in a very unexpected way. Even if you gave me those three elements, I'd be thinking plaid shirt, lace cami and jeans --- or similar. I love the use of lace in a sporty *shaped* T-shirt, and plaid on the shoes instead!

Lol Manidipa about the Hanes! I have had them for quite a while. The tee is so soft and comfy too, the lace isnt scratchy at all.
