WIW - dressy at work

For me this is a dressy outfit and i'm sure for many of you this is a casual outfit, lol. I love how we are all so different.
Top is just a simple comfy knit vneck accented with clear beads. The pants are hand me downs from my niece and I love the plaid print. The shoes are patent mary janes. Worn with small knotted silver hoop earrings. The trouser socks constantly slid down and drove me crazy all day so they promptly went in the garbage can when I got home. I do not like anything I have to fuss with, lol.
Top - Basic Editions
Pants - Oscar De La Renta Woman
Shoes - Merona

Cute look! I'm a sucker for bead detailing and envy the perfectly straight line of those pants as they skim your leg. Pants like that are one of my my hewi.

Thank you Meredith. I really like the pants and would like more like them because pants are so hard to fit. :)

Love the plaid pants, Cheryl, this grey looks so nice with your black top.  You make me laugh about the socks.  I did the same thing not too long ago, when they kept bunching up under my heel.  In the trash they went!

Those trousers are bang on the money for Fall. Nice V-neck too. Good fit.

Go on, Cheryl. Try a little side front partial tuck - just for fun. xo

Cheryl, you look relaxed yet professional and also sophisticated in these fluid fitting pieces.

Thanks Vicki! We don't have time to be bothered with bunched up socks, lol. :)

Thanks Angie! I will keep trying to partial tuck. :)

Thanks so much Suz. This is about as dressy as I get, lol. :)

Relaxed professional is a great description by Suz. Those trousers look great. I'd vote no dress socks, and hey that eliminates the fussiness. A little side tuck with a fun belt could be.. fun :)

    The pants fit you beautifully.

Thank you Aida. No socks is a good idea and I haven't been able to make a semi/faux tuck work for me but I will keep trying. :)

    Thanks so much Frannie :)

Nice change for you! I like the grey trousers! And I really like how you add a down view shoe-shot at the end - looks great!!
